Pricing questions
What counts against the weekly allowance?
Every AI action — generating an activity, grading a submission, a Magis tutoring exchange — draws on the allowance at a rate that reflects its cost. A multiple-choice quiz uses a little; a full DBQ with a seven-document set uses more. The usage meter in the app header shows exactly where you stand.
What happens when I run out?
The allowance resets automatically every seven days. If you need more before then, a one-time usage pack adds units that never expire and are used only after the weekly allowance is gone.
Do students need a paid plan?
For work a teacher assigns, no — that usage is billed to the teacher, so a student can take any assigned activity on a free account. Self-directed study is different: generating practice on their own topics and working with Magis draws on the student's own weekly allowance. Free covers occasional study; a student who studies independently every week needs Starter or Professional.
How does school or district pricing work?
Institutions license seats in bulk with a Data Processing Agreement, LTI 1.3 setup for your LMS, and admin controls for license management along with unlimited access for your users. Email sales@studiorum.io for a quote.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed monthly and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Usage packs are one-time purchases.
